We think there are more interesting people in Carinthia than you'd expect. PyCarinthia is a place to find them.
The community is for people who use Python, work with AI, or are curious about either. That includes data engineers, web developers, ML practitioners, students, researchers, hobbyists, and people who just discovered Python last week. If you are building something, learning something, or stuck on something - you belong here.
We meet to share talks, demos, workshops, and project stories. Including the ones where things went wrong. Especially those.
What a meetup looks like
A typical evening has one short talk, a few lightning intros from whoever wants to share what they are working on, time for questions, and conversation afterwards. Some sessions are hands-on workshops or open coding evenings. The format follows the people in the room.
Language
Talks and event descriptions are in English by default so international students, visitors, and non-German speakers can participate. German is welcome in informal conversation.
Code of conduct
PyCarinthia follows the spirit of the Python Software Foundation Code of Conduct. Be open, considerate, and respectful. Harassment is not tolerated.
